Williams and Griffin Department Store are on the search to find their Charity of the Year for 2014.
Over the recent years they have supported many charities such as The Robin Cancer Trust, SESAW (Suffolk and Essex Small Animal Welfare) and St Helena Hospice in to name just a few.
Thousands of pounds have been raised for all these wonderful causes. Many events take place in store over the year to raise funds for the store charity, for example at Customer Shopping Evenings, the unveiling of the Christmas Animated Window and activities run by Williams & Griffin staff throughout the year.
Each year a different charity is chosen.
Sally Thomas, Marketing Manager for the store commented “we are asking charities to put themselves forward if they are interested in working with us in 2014. Then a shortlist of charities goes into a ballot for our staff to vote. Therefore we would like to hear from the charities themselves or people locally as to their suggestions for this year”
If you would like to submit a suggestion please email at email@example.com with ‘Charity of the Year 2014’ in the subject box by Friday 24th January 2014. If you can, please provide a brief overview about the charity.
