The Meadows shopping centre in Chelmsford recently conducted a survey about Christmas trees, asking shoppers if they were offered a tree collection service, would they use it, and 63% said yes.  Cue Christmas Treecycling from the Meadows shopping centre!

Working in partnership with local company, Walker Tree Care, the shopping centre will offer a free Christmas tree collection service between the 7th and 12th January 2014.  The donated trees will be chipped and shredded this winter and delivered to Tropical Wings Zoo to use as bedding to keep the animals warm this winter. To register a tree collection visit http://www.themeadows.co.uk/treecycling

When you arrange the collection of your tree, not only will you be helping Tropical Wings Zoo in the process, but you will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of 7 family tickets to the zoo as a thank you.  Plus your sad, lonely Christmas tree won’t be abandoned in your garden!
