Grants Available For Community Groups supporting families

Family Innovation Fund 2014-2015

The Family Innovation Fund 4 (FIF4) is a one year grants programme to encourage and enable voluntary and community sector organisations working with children, young people and adults to establish a wide range of innovative projects to support families.

Subject to final ECC Governance, funding will be available for delivery of projects for the year February 2014 to the end of March 2015 and the total available is £1,000,000.

Family Innovation Fund projects will complement existing Essex County Council and partner organisations’ services that work with families with a high level of need, and where possible prevent the need for specialist/intensive interventions.

All funded projects will need to secure outcomes identified through each geographical (quadrant) needs assessment and be targeted at children and young people aged 5-19 years and their families.

Voluntary and community sector organisations are invited to register their interest now and the documentation is available.
