Music on the Sunshine Coast

Learn song writing, composition and music production in Clacton this summer.

Summer School 31st July – 3rd August – 10am – 2pm

Music on the Sunshine Coast’s is running a 4 day summer school 31st July – 3rd August 10am – 2pm

The Summer School will include; Supastars Rock school, young people can learn drums, bass, guitar and vocals and then form bands and perform.

Song writing and composition, where they will learn to write and create their own music and lyrics

Music production where they can learn to create and produce their own C.D. recording their own songs and maybe even releasing it!

The Summer School will finish with a grand performance on Friday 3rd August @ 1pm, to show-case all the young peoples new skills and creativity.

Music on the Sunshine Coast aims to make music accessible to young people in Tendring who are in the transition stage of school – years 5, 6, 7 and 8. The project has been sponsored by Youth Music and South Tendring LDG.

The summer school will be free but a £5 returnable deposit is required to secure a place. Please see; Lee Knight-Camilleri or the staff at the Community Centre, Clacton Coastal Academy, Town Site, Pathfield Road to book your place.

Booking open 9am – 4pm from Wednesday 3rd July

Places are still available for year 7 and 8 pupils to attend free workshops in Rock School, Music Production and Song writing each Wednesday 4.30pm – 5.30pm at Clacton Coastal Academy. Please contact Stella Eldon for details.
